The University of Michigan’s Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) unit aims to increase the participation by women and gender minorities in academic programs and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and to foster their future success.
The University of Michigan is at the forefront of equality in science and engineering. The U-M’s focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion spans multiple dimensions, including gender, race, SES, first generation status, to name a few. Accordingly, WISE fosters the success of students who belong anywhere in the gender spectrum and encourages participation by students across all identities.
The WISE office is a proud partner of the Women in Science and Engineering Residence Program, a supportive living learning community in Mosher Jordan Hall. Click here for the WISE RP website with information on their program. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions.
