Some statistics on Women in STEM at U-M:

• 33 female faculty who earned NSF CAREER grants, 40% of UM’s total awardees
• 52% of the College of Engineering’s leadership is female
• 4 female faculty awarded the prestigious Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE)
• Top 20 top STEM schools for women according to the US News and World Report
• 20 active student organizations for women in STEM that do everything from middle school outreach to hosting national conferences.
