WISE (Women in Science & Engineering) at the University of Michigan aims to increase the participation and success of women and gender minorities in academic programs and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Our programs are designed for women, girls, and non-binary individuals but are open to any member of the U-M community.
The University of Michigan is at the forefront of equality in science and engineering. The U-M’s focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion spans multiple dimensions, including gender, race, SES, first generation status, to name a few. Accordingly, WISE fosters the success of students who belong anywhere in the gender spectrum and encourages participation by students across all identities.
The WISE office is a proud partner of the Women in Science and Engineering Residence Program, a supportive living learning community in Mosher-Jordan Hall. Learn more about the WISE RP on their website. You can also email [email protected] with your questions.
