By increasing outreach to incoming students and developing new programs for academic success and professional development, WISE aims to double student engagement,strengthen faculty-student connections, and grow relationships with alumni and STEM professionals.

WISE is committed to equipping students with both a strong academic foundation and important professional skills. Targeted workshops, mentorship programs, and a new career readiness initiative, all designed for accessibility and inclusion, will support student growth and success.

To ensure sustainable growth in the face of increasingly volatile higher education funding, WISE will partner with faculty allies and aligned units to pursue grants, philanthropic gifts, and co-sponsored programming.
