U-M Faculty & Staff

WISE is often seen exclusively as a student-facing unit because of our work to provide a sense of community & belonging for students and to help them develop academic, STEM, and leadership skills. But we see supporting those who work with and teach students as critical to our mission to foster gender equity in STEM at U-M. We are happy to consult with you to grow our shared understanding of issues relating to equity in science and engineering classes.

We also want to partner on NSF Broadening Impacts, NSF Broadening Participation, or other grant programs on projects related to equity in STEM. All of WISE programs are designed for women and girls but open to students of any gender identity.

Are you a faculty member looking to get involved with WISE? Please reach out to us at [email protected] or connect with a member of our Faculty Advisory Board.
