Program Overview

Sophomore Bootcamp will give you everything you need to get ready for your career. For two days before classes start for Winter Semester (January 11-12, 2027), U-M staff, STEM professionals, and peer facilitators will teach you how getting hired actually works and all the crucial steps to get an offer in hand. Our program takes the guesswork out of a career or internship search so you can apply with confidence to a job that you’re sure is the right fit.

By the end of the program, you’ll have a working elevator pitch, a revised LinkedIn profile, tailored resume bullets, and real practice with the STAR method for interviews. You’ll be ready to approach the career search with a clear view of what you want and who you are.
