Camp Instructors

The instructors at WISE’s summer camps are U-M faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates. We are always looking for folks who are passionate about their field and want to share that enthusiasm with middle schoolers & high schoolers. We work with you on your lesson plan, order the materials, and get you set up for success. If you’re interested in teaching a lesson, email [email protected].

Camp Counselors

The team of counselors for our summer camps are an enthusiastic group of undergraduate and graduate students who care about keeping the campers safe and building their enthusiasm for STEM. Applications for camp counselor positions open in March.

WISE MENTORS

WISE Mentors help us carry out our mission of helping students succeed in STEM by building a meaningful community where all students in STEM feel supported and seen. Our Mentors serve as ambassadors across campus, letting other students know about WISE, and they design the programming that helps strengthen our community. Come meet the WISE Mentors at our Community Meetings, where they provide professional development or at our WISE Nights In, where they will take time to make sure you get connected to other STEM students. Bios for the 2026-2027 Mentors will be posted soon, and applications for the next year’s Mentor cohort open in Winter semester.
